Kiwis love their pets
Many New Zealanders have dogs or cats as companion pets. In most instances, these pets are much-loved, and are part of the family.
Defending the voiceless
However, in some cases these animals are abused and tortured. So what happens when things go so horribly wrong? Who defends the voiceless? Paw Justice, that’s who.
What is Paw Justice?
Paw Justice exists to encourage people to make good choices around their pets. We want to force change, educate and amend the law so that those who abuse animals receive a punishment that matches the crime – and pets get the justice they deserve!
We believe the prevention of cruelty to animals in NZ needs a shake-up. We run various programmes and campaigns to promote our causes. Often, a rebellious approach is needed, and we need your help!
Responsible Pet Ownership for all Pets
Ultimately, we want members of the public to practice, promote and maintain ‘responsible pet ownership’ of their pets… and for pets to have happy lives with the humans they love unconditionally.
